Mathews to sign books Monday

Clarke County native Mary Chapman Mathews and photographer Chip Cooper will be at the Clarke County Museum in Grove Hill Monday, Dec. 18 to sign copies of “A Mansion's Memories,” a book of history and photographs of the 1841 President's Mansion at the University of Alabama.

She will be autographing copies from noon until 2 p.m., making it convenient for people to stop by on their lunch hour. The proceeds of all books sold during the signing will benefit the museum.
