Coffeeville’s first lighted parade

Coffeeville churches were the big winners in the Coffeeville Christmas Parade Saturday, Dec. 9. It was the town’s first evening, lighted parade.

Winners in the non-profit category included first place- Coffeeville United Methodist Church; second place-Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church; and third place-Coffeeville First Baptist Church.

Winners in the business category included first place-West Bend Construction; second place-Village Pharmacy; and third place-The Country Goose.

All winners received a plaque and cash awards. The parade was sponsored by the Coffeeville Ladies League.

Float emphasized the magic of the holiday season.
