Christmas cheer ... for 151st time!

Christmas is upon us once more. Time seems to roll by faster and faster.

The Democrat celebrated its 150th anniversary in February so this is the 151st time for the newspaper to extend holiday greetings to all. Many thanks for your readership, your advertising patronage and your general support during 2006 as well as for the past 150 years. It is all deeply appreciated.

We look forward to serving you in 2007 and for many more years!
