Over 1,100 lights honor, remember citizens on hospital Christmas Tree
The Grove Hill Memorial Hospital Auxiliary held its annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony last Thursday night. Over 1,100 lights were purchased on the hospital’s tree in honor or in memory of area citizens. Proceeds will be used for equipment purchases for the hospital and other auxiliary projects. Youngsters from the Grove Hill Memorial Hospital sang and the church pastor, the Rev. Dave Rhodes, gave a holiday message. At right, Terri and Randy Grimes closed the program with a song. She works in the Medical Records department of the hospital. The small group enjoyed refreshments afterwards in the hospital dining room.
