McVay Wilburn Hugh McVay, 96, of Jackson died Dec. 15, 2006 at a local health care facility. He was born He was born Jan. 10, 1910. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson. He was a World War II veteran. He was a retired selfemployed merchant. Survivors include his cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh L. McVay, his mother, Annie B. McVay; two sisters, Susan G. McVay, Olga Lucille McVay; and two brothers, J. Fayron McVay, A. Woodrow McVay.
The service was Dec. 17 at 3 p.m. at the chapel of Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson. Burial was in the Pine Crest Cemetery in Jackson.
