Lady Bullodgs down Monroe County 38-32

The Clake County High School Lady Bulldogs rebounded from two straight losses to beat the lady Tigers of Monroe County High 38-32 last Saturday night in Grove Hill.

Stephanie Robinson led the Lady Bulldogs with 12 points and three rebounds. Erica Moore added 10 points, four rebounds, seven steals and two assists. Ebony Hughes had seven points, three rebounds, five steals and an assist. Kiera Ezell added six points, three steals and two assists.

Last Friday night Clarke County lost 50-45 to county foe Jackson in Grove Hill.

Moore had nine points, four steals and two assists. Minetre Martin added nine points. Robinson had eight points, eight rebounds, three steals and an assist. Ezell had seven points, three rebounds and two steals. Ciara Pendleton added five points and two rebounds. Hughes had four points, three rebounds, two steals and an assist.

The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Demopolis last Tuesday and lost to the 5A Lady Tigers 53-39.

Moore paced CCHS with 20 points, six rebounds, five steals and two assists. Hughes had

eight points, six rebounds and a steal. Robinson had four points, five rebounds, one steal and an assist.

After taking Christmas off the Lady Bulldogs return to action on Thursday, Dec. 28 when they host Coffeeville in the Clarke County Holiday Tournament. Game time is 6 p.m.

Linden plays Choctaw County at 3 p.m. in the other girl’s bracket game. Leroy gets a first round bye and will play the winner of the CCHS-Coffeeville game Friday at 4:30 p.m.

The Championship game will be Friday at 4:30 p.m.
