Don Chester Daniels, 52, of Thomasville died April 6, 2007 at his home.
He was born Oct. 10, 1954 in Thomasville. He was a retired environmentalist with the Alabama Department of Public Health. He was a member of the Creels Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Helen Lorie Daniels, Thomasville; brother, David Wayne Daniels, Vancleave, Miss.; his sister-in-law, Mary L. Daniels, Vancleave, Miss.; nephew, Whitt Daniels, Sweet Water; and other relatives.
The funeral was held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home April 9 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Benny Harrison officiating. Burial was in the Forest Springs Cemetery in Morvin.
Active pallbearers were Ricky Herro, Scotty Herro, Jonathan Herro, Brad Smith, Bill Lemaster and Greg Downey.
Honorary pallbearers were Rusty Nichols, Andy Etheridge, Dwight Parten, Ricky Parten, Terry Campbell and Mike Larrimore. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville dicted.
