Hank Williams Champion, 51, of Pine Hill died July 19, 2007 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
He was born Nov. 7, 1955 in Pine Hill. He was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church. He was a tree trimmer with Champion Tree and Debris Removal Service.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Jean Champion, Pine Hill; one son, Chase Champion, Pine Hill; two daughters, Lisa Agee, Lynne Champion, both of Pine Hill; four brothers, John Champion, Scyrene, Tip Champion, Dixons Mills, Taterbug Champion, Arlington, Ronnie Champion, Thomasville; Henry Champion, Pine Hill; three sisters, Patricia Klug, Sandy Champion, both of Pine Hill, Jan Calvert, Columbus, Miss.; seven grandchildren.
The service was July 22 at 2 p.m. at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Williams officiating. Burial was in the Kelly Cemetery in Pine Hill.
Active pallbearers were Henry Champion, Tip-Cornelius Champion, Ronnie Champion, John Champion, Travis Agee, Hunter Champion and Taterbug Champion.
Honorary pallbearers were Neil Champion, John Brunson, Joe Hicks Jr., Vic Winters and Quintin Mann.
