He was born Jan. 27, 1940. He was an Army veteran who
served in Berlin. He worked most of
his life in the carpenter
crew at Scotch's Lumber Company in Fulton.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann Hamilton Walker, Dickinson; one son, Michael Walker, Dickinson; three daughters, Sandra Scott, Chilton community, Donna Wilson, Dickinson, Angie Phillips, Thomasville; one brother, William Walker, Jackson; one sister, Mary Courtney, Thomasville; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
The service was Aug. 2 at 10:30 a.m. at the Dickinson Baptist Church with Bros. Raymond Williams, Jimmy Parnell and Gray Snodgrass officiating. Burial was in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomasville. St. Stephens Funeral Home directed.
