Thomasville baseball clinic set for Jan. 20
      Saturday, Jan. 20 will be the date for this year's Thomasville Winter Baseball Clinic. This year's clinic will mark the 18th straight year that Thomasville has hosted the event. As usual, the clinic will feature college coaches, professional players, and professional coaches as instructors.

Bulldogs beat Livingston in shoot-around
      The Clarke County High School Bulldogs traveled to York on Dec. 23 and beat Livingston High 70-53 in a multi-team shoot-around. Deforest Taite led CCHS with 19 points. Game time changed for CPS
      Clarke Prep School's game with Hooper Academy this Saturday will start at 1 p.m. with the junior high teams playing first. The varisty teams should begin at around 3 p.m.

Two trophies taken
      Austin Price Aries, from Mobile, killed these two bucks while hunting with his grandfather Tommy Price in Clarke County. The deer were taken during a youth hunt on Nov. 11 and 12.

Big buck
      Christopher Overton, 15- years-old, killed the 205 pound, 12-point buck on Christmas Day. He was hunting near the Asbury Community and shot the deer with a 30-06 rifle.

Nice deer
      Zach Hughes, 12-years-old, killed this nice deer while hunting with his granddaddy Buddy Hughes recently in the Chilton area. The deer weighed 185 pounds.

WHMS Bulldogs have successful season
      Wilson Hall Middle School Boys Basketball team had a nine win and one lost record this year. "The boys did a terrific job this year. They were all able to start when needed and they really worked together as a team to pull us out of tough situations.

Lady Bulldogs have good season
      The Lady Bulldogs did a good job representing WHMS. They began their season with a win over Leroy. The team struggled after Gioia Jackson was lost for the season with a torn ACL, but the team rallied for more victories.
