What Christmas means to me
By Davis Rhodes

Christmas is a special holiday. People give each other gifts, sit down and eat together, and see relatives they usually only see once a year. We also attend special Christmas services celebrating how Jesus came to us as a baby. This is pretty much what Christmas means to me, also. Family is an important part of Christmas. Celebrating Christmas alone just wouldn't seem to be Christmas. Good food, gifts around the tree, and just enjoying each other's company are a lot of what Christmas means to me. Another important part of Christmas is celebrating the birth of Jesus. It's amazing that Jesus would actually send himself down to us and it's surprising that he would come as low and vulnerable as a baby in a feedbox. This is what Christmas means to me.
