Jenkins

Otis Will Jenkins, 66, of Chatom died Dec. 22, 2006 at Washington County Infirmary Hospital.

He was born Feb. 14, 1940. He was a member of the Cooper Lewis C.M.E. of Chatom. He was a retired skitter operator for a logging company.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Towner Jenkins, Chatom; stepmother, Darlene Jenkins, Monticello; nine sons, Michael Jenkins, Lamar Jenkins, Otis Jenkins Jr., Tony Jenkins, David Jenkins, Bernard Jenkins, all of Flint, Mich., Otis D. Henderson, Utah, Terrance Clay, Deer Park, Spencer Towner, Miami, Fla.; three daughters, Theresa Jenkins, Citronelle, Ashley Clay, Deer Park, LaQuisha Towner, Chatom; three brothers, Vernon Jenkins, Lonnie Jenkins and Jimmy Jenkins, all of Brookhaven, Miss.; four sisters, Dorothy Tyler, Lela Tyler, both of Brookhaven, Miss., Benetta Coleman, Emma Jenkins, both of Monticello, Miss; 23 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

The service was Dec. 30 at 11 a.m. at the Cooper Lewis C.M.E. Church in Chatom. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery of Chatom. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directed.
