Dunagan

Edward Regia Dunagan, 85, of Jackson died Dec. 31, 2006 in an area facility.

He was born Sept. 10, 1921. He was a native of Bethel. He was a member of Forest Avenue Baptist Church. He was retired from the United States Army where he served in both Germany and Japan during World War II.

Survivors include one son, Donald Dunagan, Jackson; one stepdaughter, Sallie Shields, Jackson.

The service was Jan. 3 at 10 a.m. at the chapel of Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with Bro. Carter Bates officiating. Burial was in the Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson.

Active pallbearers were Gary Counselman, Loyde Orso, Michael Huckabee, Jim Lolley, Benny Counselman and Johnny Counselman.
