Aydelott

Dorothy Westbrook Aydelott, 97, died Dec. 29, 2006.

She was born March 7, 1909. For more than 20 years she served as clerk of the probate court of Marengo County until 1974. She was a member and past president of Business and Professional Women and a councilor for the City of Linden. Survivors include three nephews, Alonzo Heath Purser, Sunny South, A.G. Westbrook Jr., Demopolis, Charles Westbrook, Mebane, N.C.; three nieces, Hays Westbrook Caplinger, Nanafalia, Rosalie Westbrook Gross, Oxford, Miss., Maralon Westbrook Jones, Annandale, NJ.; 20 great-nieces and greatnephews.

A graveside service was Jan. 1 at Linden Memorial Park. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Linden directed.
