Etheredge

Nora Belle Etheredge, 80, of Pine Hill, died Dec. 28, 2006 at Jackson Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 26, 1926 in Thomasville. She was a former machine operator at a shirt factory.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Massey Etheredge, Pine Hill; three sons, Hiram Perry Gibson, John Franklin Gibson, both of Thomasville, Huey R. Gibson, Faunsdale; three daughters, Nancy Belle Etheredge Higginbotham, Panama City, Fla., Rose Etheredge Hodge, Kentucky, Vivian Gray Gibson Thumb, Newnan, Ga.; 18 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren.

The service was Jan. 1 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Walker officiating. Burial was in the Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville.

Active pallbearers were Chad Edmonds, Derrick Clark, Rod Gibson, John Gibson, Allen Ballard and Charles Boykin.

Honorary pallbearers were Stanley Turk, Walter Turk, Lee Turk and Tommy Stapleton.
