UWA announces honors list

The University of West Alabama announces outstanding students named to the President's List and the Dean's List for the Fall 2006 academic semester.

To reach the President's List, students must earn at least a 3.80 grade point average while attempting at least 12 semester hours.

Local students on the President's List are listed: Steven G. Davis and Brenda P. Poellnitz, both of Grove Hill; Melisa A. Washington of Lower Peach Tree; Steven C. Etheridge of Sweet Water; Jennifer L. Agee, Charlotte M. Cox, Abbie B. Drinkard, Catherine E. Jacobs, Monica A. McSween and John D. Phillips, all of Thomasville.

To be named to the Dean's List, students must obtain at least a 3.25 grade point average while attempting at least 12 semester hours.

Local students on the Dean's List are listed: Lea Bolen, Kimberly M. Dubose, Christopher Harrison and Jonathan L. Wright, all of Jackson; Deldric A. Dunning, Jonathan M. Tucker and Courtney L. Williams, all of Sweet Water; Kristina D. Rowden and Dana R. Thompson, both of Thomasville.
