Bulldogs down WCHS, THS

The Clarke County High School Bulldogs continued their roll through their schedule as they beat Thomasville 68-55 last Saturday night in Thomasville to improve their record to 15-2.

DeForest Taite and Ben Burroughs each had 17 points to lead the Bulldogs over their county rival. Kenneth Kimbrough added 14 points. Justin Burroughs chipped-in 11 points.

The previous night they won their area opener as they beat Washington County 63-47 in Chatom.

B. Burroughs torched WCHS for 26 points. His brother J. Burroughs added 14 points. Taite had 13 points and Kimbrough added eight points.

Tuesday night the Bulldogs took to the road as they went to Mobile to take on Mobile Christian in another big area game. Friday night they host Washington County and then next Tuesday they close out area play as they host Mobile Christian.

The results from these games will be in next week's Democrat.
