State employee group offering $500 scholarship to area high school seniors

The Alabama Conservation District Employees Association will be accepting scholarship applications throughout the State of Alabama from high school seniors for one (1) $500 scholarship to be awarded to a student who is a resident of the State of Alabama and is planning to attend an Alabama College the summer or fall of the year 2007.

Contact your high school guidance counselor or the Clarke County/Washington County Soil & Water Conservation District office at 251-246-0245 ext. 3. The deadline for completed scholarship applications is Monday, March 5.
