Brunson is new coroner
Kevin Brunson was sworn in as the new Clarke County coroner last Wednesday. District Judge Bill Kimbrough administered the oath while Katherine Brunson held the Bible for her husband. Brunson, a Democrat and of Jackson, won the office with the largest majority of any local officials in the November general election, polling 72 percent of the vote in his race.
