Lady Gators play tough but drop key contests

The Clarke Prep School Lady Gators had a tough week last week as they lost two area games.

On Friday CPS lost 51-38 to Cottage Hill in Grove Hill.

Corrie Allen led CPS with 14 points, 10 rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Rachel Mayton had eight points. Whitney Larrimore added five points and four rebounds.

The Lady Gators traveled to Mobile last Tuesday and lost 77- 31 to Faith Academy.

Allen had 23 points and six rebounds. Haley Hill had four rebounds. Harley Horton added four points.

Clarke Prep hosted Fort Dale Tuesday night and the results from that game will be in next week's Democrat.
