Lady Bulldogs settle score with Chatom

The Lady Bulldogs of Clarke County High School overcame a furious rally by Mobile Christian to hold onto a 48-44 win Tuesday night in Grove Hill.

Erica Moore had a triple-double to lead the team as she scored 14 points, pulled down 11 rebounds and dished out 10 assists to go with seven steals. Stephanie Robinson had 12 points and six rebounds. Ebony Hughes had 11 points, three rebounds and two steals. Jiera Ezell added nine points and three steals. Nakeshia Coats had eight points.

The Clarke County High School Lady Bulldogs rolled off three straight wins this past week to improve to 13-5 on the season.

Last Saturday night they traveled to Monroeville and beat the Lady Tigers of Monroe County 46-34.

Erica Moore led the Lady Bulldogs with 24 points, five rebounds, three steals and one assist. NaKeshia Coats added eight points and seven rebounds. Stephanie Robinson had six points. Ebony Hughes added four points and eight rebounds.

The Lady Bulldogs beat Washington County 51-50 in Grove Hill last Friday night.

Moore had 18 points, seven rebounds, two steals and five assists. Coates had 10 points and five rebounds. Kiera Ezell added nine points, five rebounds and two steals. Hughes had five points and five rebounds. Robinson and Minetre Martin each had four points and five rebounds.

Last Tuesday CCHS traveled to Mobile and beat the Lady Leopards of Mobile Christian 66- 47.

Moore again led the troops with 21 points, seven rebounds, five steals and 12 assists. Robinson had 14 points and four rebounds. Hughes had 10 points, eight rebounds, two steals and an assist. Ezell added six points and four rebounds.
