Short civil jury docket next week

The civil jury term will begin Monday, Jan. 29 in Clarke County Circuit Court.

The Clarke County Grand Jury will also meet next week to hear presentations for possible criminal indictment. District Attorney Spence Walker said a few weeks ago that an unusual large number of cases are scheduled to be presented.

The following civil cases are scheduled for trial:

Judge Thomas Baxter's docket

Mitchell Heirs and the Austin York Heirs vs. Grady Goulds, et al, property damage.

Deborah Powell vs. Cannon Trucking Inc., Jerry A. Nadasky, Et al, motor vehicle negligence.

Gross Foreman and Carolyn Dickinson vs. Hartalnd Express Inc., and Sandra Martin, motor vehicle negligence.

Corey Mitchell vs. Joseph Zebulon Ramey, et al, motor vehicle negligence.

Deangela Chapman vs. Joseph Zebulon Ramey and Legrant Dunagan, motor vehicle negligence.

Judge Stuart DuBose's docket

Robert Gibson Jr. vs. Wells Bozeman, account collection.

Sherian and Marvin Sheffield vs. Cox Pools Inc., Ollie Dale Fountain, motor vehicle negligence.

Christine Young vs. McDonald's of Thomasville, et al, workman's compensation.

Margaret Megginson vs. John Davis and Robert Hoseman, et al, motor vehicle negligence.
