T'ville man recovering after wreck pins him under vehicle last week

Ken Morris, is recovering at USA Medical Center in Mobile after being pinned under his overturned truck last Thursday, Jan. 18, on Elam Road west of Thomasville.

Morris, 34, was returning to his Thomasville home when the accident occurred.

According to witness statements, the truck overturned and Morris was thrown from the vehicle and then pinned under it.

The Alabama Highway Patrol estimated the time of the accident was about 5:45 a.m. Morris' wife contacted family members who searched for him. He was found by his father, Larry Joe Morris.

The Thomasville Volunteer Fire Department was called to assist at the wreck scene and Morris was taken by Lifeflight to USA Medical Center.
