Southern Magnolia Club prepares for fern sale

The Southern Magnolia Woman's Club held its monthly meeting Thursday, Jan. 11 at the home of Sue Duke.

Club members discussed the annual fern sale and also decided which local organizations to make donations to this year. All proceeds from the fern sales are donated to organizations or groups that benefit Grove Hill and Clarke County.

The business meeting was adjourned with the reading of the club collect and then members enjoyed refreshments prepared by hostesses Mrs. Duke, Nancy Waller and Virginia Wiggins.
