Apartments going up in Thomasville
      Work has started on the foundation for the new Boardwalk Cottages apartments on the east side of the railroad tracks in downtown Thomasville. This view is looking toward the south and shows some of the dirt work in progress.

Arts Council sponsoring another photo contest
      The Grove Hill Arts Council will again sponsor a photography contest in April 2007. Last year's initial contest was a big success. "Photography In Your Own Backyard" is sponsored by the Grove Hill Arts Council to promote an interest in art through photography.
