Lady Bulldogs lose in county tournament

Stephanie Robinson had 14 points and 15 rebounds in the Lady Bulldog's loss to Jackson in the Clarke County tournament last Friday.
The Clarke County High School Lady Bulldogs lost 41-34 to the Aggies of Jackson High School last Thursday night in the first round of the Clarke County Tournament in Thomasville.

Stephanie Robinson had a double-double to lead the way as she scored 14 points and pulled down 15 rebounds. Nakeshia Coats added 12 points and five rebounds. Erica Moore had five points and five rebounds, along with three steals and four assists.

The Lady Bulldogs host Thomasville this Friday night in their final regular home game of the season. Saturday night they travel to Jackson in the last game of the regular season.

On Feb. 8 the Lady Bulldogs will host the Class 3A Area 1 tournament.

Washington County will play Mobile Christian at 6:30. The winner of that game plays CCHS on Feb. 10 at 6:30 p.m.

The winner of the tournament will be hosting in the sub-state round of the playoffs while the loser will have to travel. The next round following that will be the regional tournament held at Troy University in Troy.
