Kennedy

Pearlie Mae Arnold Kennedy, 84, of Jackson died Feb. 1, 2007 at Kindred Nursing Home in Mobile.

She was born Nov. 26, 1922. She was a native of Rockville. She was born to the parentage of the late Andrew Arnold and Carrie Valentine Arnold. She was a member of the St. Union Missionary Baptist Church in Jackson. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, Tommy (Agnes) Tate, Orlando, Fla; six daughters, Linda Flowes, Johnnie Mae Brown, both of Panama City, Fla., Dee Helen Foreman, Mobile, Leola Kennedy, Dorothy Kennedy, Elizabeth Kennedy, all of Jackson; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

The service will be Thursday (today), Feb. 8 with visitation from 12 noon until the service hour at 1 p.m. at St. Union Missionary Baptist Church in Jackson with Rev. J.M. Howard, pastor and eulogist, officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Jackson. Andrews Funeral Home of Jackson will direct.
