Commissioners OK salary ranges for sheriff's officers

      Clarke County Commissioners Tuesday set ranges of pay for two positions in the Clarke County Sheriff's Department and attended to other matters related to the department. Recently, new Sheriff Bobby Moore announced promotions within the department and requested new salaries for those promoted.

Fulton woman charged with leaving children in vehicle at T'ville Wal-Mart
      A Fulton woman was arrested last week for leaving four children unattended in a vehicle. Thomasville police charged Shelitha Chantrell Jones with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child on Feb. 8 after leaving the children in the car while she went into Wal-Mart.
