Fulton woman charged with leaving children in vehicle at T'ville Wal-Mart

A Fulton woman was arrested last week for leaving four children unattended in a vehicle.

Thomasville police charged Shelitha Chantrell Jones with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child on Feb. 8 after leaving the children in the car while she went into Wal-Mart.

Other arrests include:

Juvenile, possession of marijuana, first degree, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, arrested Feb. 11;

Ryan Chase Rust, failure to appear on speeding, arrested Feb. 5;

Alisha Renee McGrew, failure to pay/failure to appear on speeding for Silas Police Department, arrested Feb. 8;

Sherry Chquender Whitted, failure to appear on driving while license revoked for Pine Hill Police Department, failure to appear on speeding and failure to appear on driving while license revoked for Summerdale Police Department, arrested Feb. 8;

Kimberly Rena Moore, failure to appear on speeding, arrested Feb. 8;

Garry Jackson, failure to appear on DUI, arrested Feb. 8;

Leroy Williams, DUI, open container, carrying a pistol without a permit, arrested Feb. 10;

Shmonaka Irby, failure to appear on theft of property, third degree, arrested Feb. 11;

Kenneth Maurice Williams, failure to appear on theft of property, third degree, arrested Feb. 11.

Thomasville police officers investigated one traffic accident, responded to 25 complaints, issued 21 traffic tickets and two warning tickets and performed 150 special details during the week of Feb. 5-11.
