Robinson

Clarence "PaPa" Robinson, 94, of Grove Hill died Jan. 29, 2007 at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital.

He was born Sept. 5, 1912 to the late Mazie Daugherty and Luke Robinson.

Survivors include two sons, Millard James Robinson, Whatley, Clarence (Mary) Robinson of Silver Springs, Maryland; one daughter, Tilda (John) Jones, Whatley; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by wife, Arnita Robinson; daughter, Ruby (Silas) Law; brother, Rev. Luster Robinson.

The service was Feb. 7 at the First Baptist Church of Whatley with Rev. Fernell Pendleton as officiating minister. Burial was in the First Baptist Church Cemetery. Mosley Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.

Pallbearers were Darren Law, David Law, Patrick Law, Nicholas Robinson, Albert Shamburger, Jerry Pendleton and Arthur Yelder.

Flowerbearers were friends.
