CCHS to hold alumni game today

The Clarke County High School baseball team will have their annual Old Timers alumni game Thursday (today) beginning at 5 p.m. at Hudson Park.

This year's team will take on players from past season in a seven inning game.

"We want to give our pitchers some work," Coach Chris Young said. 'I want each one to throw about two innings. The temperature will dictate that. If it is really cold I am not going to do anything to hurt any arms."

The Bulldogs open the season next Monday when they travel to Millry to take on the Wildcats.

The Bulldogs will be holding their annual Hit-A-Thon on March 5 starting at 5 p.m. at Hudson Park.

Anyone wishing to sponsor a player can call the school at 275- 3368 for more information.
