Open Buddy bass tourney set for March 17

The Monroe County Bass Anglers will be sponsoring an Open Buddy Bass Tournament on Saturday, March 17 at Ellis Landing in Miller's Ferry.

The entry fee for the event is $80 per boat which includes a $10 lunker pot. There is a five fish limit and they must be 12 inchs in length.

Anglers will be looking for large mouth and spotted bass.

The event will run from safelight until 3 p.m.

There is a 75 percent payback, based on 50 boats with first place earning $1,400; second place $600; third place $350; and fourth place $250. Additional places will be paid according to number of entries.

The order of registration will determine the order of blast off so to ensure proper registration, all entries must be received by March 14.
