Alabama Power history
Dr. Leah Rawls Atkins, right, talks with Susie Kennedy and Judy Graham as she autographs copies of her newest book, "Developed for the Service of Alabama"- The Centennial History of Alabama Power Company, 1906-2006. Atkins, who lives in Birmingham, was commissioned by Alabama Power to write the history. She was in Grove Hill Sunday to speak to the Clarke County Historical Society about the project. Graham is manager of the Grove Hill and Jackson offices of Alabama Power.
