Wild Turkey banquet set for March 9

The auctioneer from last year's Wild Turkey Federation banquet helped raise money through framed pictures.
The Clarke County Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation will hold its annual banquet Friday, March 9 at the National Guard Armory in Grove Hill. Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m.

A seafood buffet will be served and there will be a live and silent auction featuring wildlife paintings and prints and other items. Door prizes will also be given away.

A couples' ticket is $65 and includes two meals and a membership; a single ticket, one meal and membership is $50.

The NWTF promotes the restoration and management of the American wild turkey and other valuable natural resources.
