Dunagan wins county spelling bee
The Clarke County Spelling Bee was held recently in Grove Hill at Grove Hill United Methodist Church. Clarke Prep School's Courtney Dunagan beat out seven other students to win the contest. She correctly spelled "nuisance" and then "crevice" to win. Wilson Hall Middle School's Jessica Lucero finished in second place. Dunagan now advances to the state spelling bee in Birmingham.
