Odom

Mary Ellen Odom, 73, of Thomasville died Feb. 22, 2007 at her residence.

She was born Dec. 21, 1933 in Franklin. She attended Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Thomasville. She was a retired home health care worker.

Survivors include three sons, David Stabler, Prattville, Wayne Cobb, Dewayne Cobb, both of Monroe County; six daughters, Martha Sheehan, Thomasville; Mary Hagemann, Prattville, Patricia O'Hara, Montgomery, Reecie Steadman, Diane Cobb, Frances McKinley, all of Monroe County; one brother, William Cecero Turberville, Monroe County; four sisters, Rubye Irene McKinley, Eunice Elizabeth McKinley, Gloria Dean Cole, Thelma Jewel Lanier, all of Monroe County; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The service was Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Chris Giles officiating. Burial was in Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville. O'Bryant Chapel of Thomasville directed.

Active pallbearers were Jefferey Hagemann, Jeffrey Stroud, Dave Salmond, James Morgan, Pete Sheehan and Buddy Deason.
