Patterson

Johnnie Patterson, 58, of Grove Hill died Feb. 20, 2007 at a nursing home facility in Eight Mile. He was born Dec. 14, 1948.

Survivors include his wife, Ora L. Patterson; four sons, Jonathan (Elaine) and Melvin Patterson, Grove Hill, Charles and John Patterson, Foley; three brothers, Walter and Jeremiah Patterson, Grove Hill, Arthur Patterson, Mobile; three sisters, Creola Westry, Grove Hill, Arcola Williams, Thomasville, Melissa Jones, Columbus, Ga.; three grandchildren; five aunts; one uncle and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The service was Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. at the Pine Chapel #1 Baptist Church with Rev. Elijah Scott, officiating. Burial was in the Pine Chapel #1 Baptist Church Cemetery. Reese Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.
