CCHS Bulldogs drop pair to Citronelle

The Clarke County High School Bulldogs baseball team dropped both ends of a doubledipper this past Saturday to Citronelle in Grove Hill.

In the second game the Bulldogs fought back but were edged 12-11.

Robert Malone (0-2) took the loss as he fanned seven in five innings of work.

Malone had two hits and an RBI. Hunter Cross had a hit and three RBI. Justin Robinson, Terrance Frazier and Daniel Powell each had a hit and an RBI. Justin Fendley and Adrian Snell both had a hit.

In the first game CCHS lost 12-2 in five innings.

Danny Norris (0-1) shouldered the loss.

Tyler Walker and Cross both had doubles. Frazier added a hit.

Clarke County played St. Paul's Tuesday in the Tombigbee Classic tournament in Leroy.
