Davis

Hattie Jo Davis, 90, of Dixons Mills died Feb. 25, 2007 at Mobile Infirmary.

She was born Sept. 12, 1916 in Dixons Mills. She was a lifelong member of Dixons Mills Baptist Church. She was a retired mail carrier.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy (Nan) Davis, Sweet Water, Stan (Bertha) Davis, Guntersville; three daughters, Jo (Rom) Gilbert, Keystone Heights, Fla., Floyce (Jerry) Dunn, Sweet Water, Gail (Bruce) Baker, Dixons Mills; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.

The service was Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. with Major Clay Davis officiating. Burial was in the Dunning Cemetery in Dixons Mills. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.

Active pallbearers were Thad Dunn, Tony Dunn, Brad Dunn, Todd Davis, Ben Davis, Alan Baker, David Smith and Jimmy Dixon.
