Watts

Inez "Sis" Hinson Watts, 83, of Linden died March 3, 2007 at her residence.

She was born Feb. 23, 1924 in Octagon. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was a retired teacher from the Linden City Schools.

Survivors include one son, Joseph (Ann) Watts, Birmingham; five daughters, Suzanne (Stuart) Pope, Julia (Billy) Milstead, all of Thomasville, Cynthia (Craig) Gamble, Camden, Madeline (Jim) Hildreth, Brewton, Margaret (Bill) Till, Somerville; one sister, Phebe H. Mitchell, Demopolis; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

A graveside service was March 7 at 1 p.m. at the Laurel Cemetery with Rev. Stuart Pope officiating. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Delta Kappa Gamma Grant Aid, c/o Marianne Gibbs, 104 South Avenue East, Linden, AL 36748.
