CCHS Royal Band of Blue seeks donated items for benefit auction

The Clarke County High School Royal Band of Blue will hold an auction at the old Chick- A-Dee in Grove Hill sometime in April. This auction is sponsored by George Jones and the CCHS Band Booster Club.

It is asked that everyone in the community and business community, come and join in to donate any furniture, baby beds, desks, lawn supplies such as mowers, etc. or any items in working condition.

All items can be dropped off at the old Chick-A-Dee in Grove Hill or at the Clarke County High School. The parking area at Chick-A-Dee will be checked throughout the day for securing all items. Please have merchandise or donations turned in by the last week in March. All profits will go toward the purchase of new uniforms for the 2007- 2008 marching season. (No clothes please.)

The Clarke County High School Band Booster Club would like to thank everyone for their support and contributions. A special thanks to George Jones and Briggs Inc. Office Machines for their help and dedication that they have shown the Royal Band of Blue throughout this year. They are both very supportive businessmen in the community.

John Conner is the band director, Robin Dial is band president, Jimmy Dumas is the band's vice president and Cedora Wright is the active assistant secretary.
