Celebrates 98th birthday
Mrs. Vera "Becie" York, seated, celebrated her 98th birthday recently given by her children and relatives at Eight Mile Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The Coffeeville native and longtime resident still crochets and solves puzzles. She also looks forward to visitors. She was so excited over the beautiful corsage that Judith Coate Autrey presented to her. She is shown with her children, Blanche Hicks and Melvin York.
