Open house at new C'ville Town Hall March 25
By Kathryn F. Pickard

The Coffeeville Town Council met for the first time at the new Coffeeville Town Hall March 6.

Two events were planned for the new facility.

Open House will be held there Sunday, March 25, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.

A community egg hunt will be held in the park area April 7.

Bids have been received on paving the parking lot at Town Hall, but funds are not readily available. Council members voted to have slag delivered by Glen Bradford and use equipment from the county to spread it.

There was also a discussion on organizing the town's library, which will be housed in the former town hall. Volunteers will help organize the books and other materials and keep the library open.
