Bumpers

Dorothy Belle Gardner Bumpers, 65, of Winn died March 9, 2007 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

She was born March 9, 1941. She was a member of Berry's Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church. She served

on the usher board,

Oltha Thomas Choir, class leader, assistant secretary for the Sunday School Department, president of the Home Missionary and WH and OM society and culinary committee. She was retired from Boise after 25 years.

Survivors include one son, Leonard Bumpers, Detroit, Mich.; three daughters, Joann (Broderick) Heard, Alice Jenkins, Ronessa (Charles) Sellers, all of Montgomery; one stepdaughter, Alice Jackson, Montgomery; one brother, Earlie (Clara) Gardner, Maplesville; one sister, Nellie Driver, Brent; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

visitation will be Sat. March 17, 2007 at 10:00 am until the 12:00 funeral hour at Berry's Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church of Winn. Burial was in the Bumpers Cemetery in Winn. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directed.
