Council

Willie Council Jr., 70, of Choctaw Bluff died March 8, 2007 in Mobile. He was born Dec. 6, 1936.

Survivors include one daughter, Diana (Alphonse) Bradford, Prichard; one grandson; five brothers, Bennie (Helen) Council, Henry (Barbara) Council, Curtis Council, all of Choctaw Bluff, Lloyd Council, Stateline, Miss., Flenard (Brenda) Council, Freeport, Il.; four sisters, Johnice (James) Porter, Catherine Collins, both of Mobile, Teanna Martin, Jackson, Mary Lee Parker, Freeport, Il.

The service was March 14 at 1 p.m. at the Church of God Pentecostal in Choctaw Bluff. Burial was in the New Cannan Cemetery in Choctaw Bluff. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directed.
