Philan

Mamie Crockett Philan, 101 of Thomasville died March 5, 2007 at her residence.

She was born Feb. 28, 1906. She was a retired homemaker and former midwife.

Survivors include four daughters, Arizona Pace, Tuskegee, Ruth Turner, Prichard, Mamie Allen, Citronelle, Mary Thigpen, Thomasville; 35 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 36 greatgreat grandchildren.

The service was March 12 at 11 a.m. at the Thomasville Church of God in Christ with Elder Ricky Allen officiating. Burial was in the Cedar Point Cemetery in West Bend. Thomasville Memorial Funeral Home directed.
