Community donations presented
The Southern Magnolia Woman's Club of Grove Hill presented their annual donations to local organizations during the March meeting. Proceeds from the club's fern sale are put back into the community each year through the club's donations and by their support of local art, music and beautification projects. Pictured are, left to right, Tommy Hart, Clarke County Museum; Carmen Rotch, Clarke County Junior Miss; Sue Duke, A Secret Safe Place for Newborns and interim club treasurer; Kay Crosby, Alpha Pregnancy Testing Center; Kathryn F. Pickard, club president; Betty Barlow, Regional Child Advocacy Center; Betsy West, Grove Hill Public Library; and Sonya McKenzie, Clarke County Association for Retarded Citizens. Club members are taking orders for ferns, which will be delivered in April. To purchase a fern contact any club member.
