UWA awards scholarships to local students

Two Clarke County students were recently awarded Trustees Scholarships to attend the University of West Alabama in Livingston. These awards, which are based on academic achievement and proven leadership potential, come from the UWA Office of Admissions.

Katelyn Michelle Dunagan of Coffeeville received a $10,000 academic scholarship. A senior at Clarke Preparatory School, she plans to major in pre-physical therapy or pre-pharmacy.

Wesley Selden Morgan of Thomasville earned a $6,000 leadership scholarship. A senior at Clarke Preparatory School, he plans to major in secondary education.
