Myrtle "Ruth" Davis Malpie, 87, died Sunday, March 11, 2007. She was born Oct. 12, 1919 in Allen, Alabama.

Beloved wife of Arthur Malpie. Mother of Priscilla M. Palazzalo and Ruth M. Loga. Daughter of the late Annie Lou Tarleton and Thomas Arthur Davis. Sister of the late Bessie Mae Davis, Grace D. Montelone, Curtis A. Davis and Jewel D. Phillips. Grandmother of Karen Tiner, Dean Palazzalo and Alison Palazzalo. Also survived by four great-grandchildren. Funeral Services at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home Chapel, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., (in Metairie Cemetery) on Saturday, March 17.
