York Hettie York, 88, of Thomasville died March 12, 2007 at the Thomasville Nursing Home. She was born Dec. 15, 1918. She was a homemaker. Survivors include one brother, Raymond (Nancy) Dunning, Dixons Mills; four sisters, Aliece Christpen, Thomasville, Ida Malone, Mobile, Madelyn Steele, Ada M. Moore, Pine Hill; one stepsister, Mattie Hosea, Dixons Mills; nephew, Derrick Thigpen, Thomasville; one niece, Gussie Bridsont, Thomasville.
The service was March 19 at 12 p.m. at the Rockbabylon Baptist Church in Dixons Mills with Rev. Norris Pauley officiating. Burial was in the Polly Robinson Cemetery in Dixons Mills. Thomasville Memorial Funeral Home directed.
